and my best friend. He's a sweet daddy to our three children, a hard worker and our families' go-to computer technician. Matt is the middle child in a family of 5 kids. . . 2 older, 2 younger.
Three months before our oldest was born, Matt began going to college. At first his major had something to do with computers, but as school continued, he decided on a very different choice in a major. . . Criminal Justice. It seemed a very different choice for him, but he was excited about it and for the most part, enjoyed his studies. After nearly 5 years of school and three kids later, the date of graduation approached and he started going to career fairs ans seeing what was available. He applied for a job as a Corrections Specialist at the Utah County Jail. He was tested, interviewed, given a background packet to fill out. He took a psych test and a polygraph evaluation, was measured for uniforms and graduated from college with his degree. We were just wailting for him to start police corps when the owner of the company he's been with for nearly 6 years approaches him and informs him that one of their account executives was leaving and he wanted to offer Matt that position. Everything about that job offer to me, was an answer to prayer. Matt was given a blessing and afterwards together we decided that he'd accept the offer and stay with his current company. It was quite the shock for Matt to decide to stay and took some getting used to. I am so glad that he made that decision. Things are so good for us.
