Six years down, Eternity to go!

This is Matt and I on November 2, 2002.

Six years later, we have three beautiful children and we’re still going strong. I love being married to my best friend. So, six down, Eternity to go! Matt, I love you!
This year for our anniversary was the first time that we didn’t go stay somewhere for the weekend. It was a little disappointing, but Matt had a good idea of what to do, and I enjoyed being able to spend the day with him, courtesy of my little sister, Britta. (She watched our kids.) We picked up lunch from the deli counter at Macey’s and then headed up Hobble Creek Canyon and to the camping site of Jolley’s Ranch. We found a picnic table and ate lunch. It was a beautiful fall day, and it was so good to be able to just have time with Matt without a lot of noise!
We played around in the leaves and with our camera for a bit, taking pictures, before heading to the mall where I was going to try to find something to buy Matt as a gift, but he bought me more stuff in addition to a battery pack for my camera. All in all, we had a pretty good date, I wish it could have lasted longer, but with kids waiting at home, and Britta probably going crazy because we were gone too long, it had to end sometime.
