The Funeral

I just wanted to share some pictures from my Aunt Becky’s funeral. For those of you who are my facebook friends, you may have already seen these, but here they are again.
When Bryce and Brad got to the cemetery, their mouths were blue. I asked them to stick out their tongues and lo and behold. . . BLUE TONGUES. It was so funny. We asked how that happened, and they both said. “I don’t know!”

I’m glad that pallbearers are male, I think this would be so hard; not so much physically, but emotionally. I had a hard time just watching them.

This is Lauren, a granddaughter of Becky and Dennis.

The day of Becky’s funeral threatened to be a little stormy, but as Dennis said a prayer to dedicate the gravesite, the sun came out and made everything a little brighter, and it stayed that way while we were at the cemetery.
Seeing the silver lining was comforting. There is good in nearly every situation.

I liked these ribbons with the roles on them that my aunt played. She is loved and remembered by so many people.
Last week was a difficult one for me, but I’ve felt the comforting spirit of my Savior, and I pray that I will be able to endure to end to receive the blessing of eternal life and exaltation with my family.
